Tis’ the season to be jolly, or as many people like to say, get trolleyed. Whichever side you are on, one thing’s for sure – catering businesses, cafes, restaurants and takeaways can expect a significant boost in retail over the next month or so, which is fantastic news. It’s important for everyone not to underestimate this explosion though, and to be ready for it.
One way you can do the same is by hiring a cold room.
The largest of our fridge trailers, this 3.0m unit will easily act as a second cold room. Commonly used for the larger events, hotels and caterers, our 3.0m fridge trailer is bound to get you out of trouble. It has an approximate internal capacity of 8.5 cubic metres.
Meet customer demand this Christmas with a mobile cold room
A mobile cold room is a fantastic way to increase the amount of food and drink you can stock. It’s something that all businesses in the food and drink industry can benefit from, from sandwich bars to restaurants. Not only will you be able to sell more produce to more customers, but you’ll be able extend your opening hours without stock limitations.
The cold rooms we have for hire are available for hire across Christmas and the New Year.
Here’s everything you need to know about them:
Our cold rooms can be installed anywhere
And we mean anywhere, because our cold rooms are built up panel by panel. This means they can be installed indoors or outside and they can fit in the tightest of spaces – we’ve installed them in box rooms before. Of course, we’ll build yours up for you to ensure the highest level of efficiency and we’ll dismantle it when you no longer need it.
No power? No problem!
If your cold room requires installation somewhere that does not have a mains power supply, or all of the power supplies are taken, it’s not a problem. Our mobile cold rooms can run off either a mains power supply or portable generators that are discreet and quiet. These generators ensure our cold rooms can run in the event of a complete power failure.
There’s two sizes to choose from
You can choose between a 1.8m cold room and a 3.0m cold room. Our 1.8m cold rooms have a refrigeration capacity of 5 cubic metres and our 3.0m cold rooms around 8.5 cubic metres. Both of these are small enough to not require planning permission and as mentioned previously, they are built up on-site so they can fit through narrow openings.
